Do we have any information on voter registration since the 2016 election, particularly the states which gave Trump the narrow electoral win? I can't imagine three years of youthful voters reaching the age of franchise would register as R in great percentage.

(1,264 posts)I started visiting the site in 2002, and created an account several years later. I too read a lot and only post occasionally, and have a post count of a whopping 377, now 378. I think IMAN51's question was a very good one, and have wondered the same thing myself. Thanks, progressoid, for the links.

The OP sees reason for hope that changing demographics might ensure Trump's defeat in 2020, especially if an effort is made to encourage young people to register and vote. How can that earn the OP such scorn, sarcasm, and derision?

(90,347 posts)... the Russian backed third party candidates over performed historically.
Without Russian money backing the 3rd party candidates in those states and reduced VSM HRC might have pulled getting elected off.
