(70,710 posts)which I will put into action after this (ultra-LAST-FOREVER) reply.
* I agree on the futility of "debating," for starters, which is why I will not participate in attempting to "convert" you from whatever your p.o.v. is,
* Especially futile is arguing about some kind of "theology" which is the closest I understand about whatever you are saying about there being nothing to happen when somebody is dead.
* You keep asking what this dead dude has to redeem himself about *since he's dead*. My point is that neither "charity" or "death" are Get-Out-of-Jail cards, that croaking wipes the slate clean.
* He was a jerk a-hole and Death or his Charity doesn't make up for anything. That's all I've got to say, so I will proceed to practice what you say in your Signature Line.

(8,334 posts)He was loud, obnoxious, could be funny could be harsh. Used his own money to start a camp for kids with cancer among other things and used his soap box to continue to raise money to keep the camp going. He was Howard Stern before Howard was Howard Stern. He would have political people on the show and was the keynote at the correspondents dinner where he skewered President Clinton.

(3,428 posts)POS. He said, of Gwen Ifill, that the NY Times was nice to send the help to cover the White House.
And of the Rutgers women basketball team, he called them nappy headed hos.
Dont forget to add this fact when you recount his life

79, he lived longer than he probably should have. At least he wasn't on the air with his terrible radio show.
Bye bye...

(4,220 posts)MJ and Meeka replaced him in his time slot. If he had continued his (shit) show, maybe MJ get on and then doesn't kiss tRumps ass all those years and help him get elected???

Is your premise that if Imus had not been fired for racism, Trump would not have been elected?
Ergo, Imus should have been allowed to be a racist on the air?
Is that really your position?
