I have to admit to needing to google him to get an idea of who he is (heard his name before but that was about it.)

Can't say I'm that impressed. Wall Street insider. Makes money off of money, but doesn't provide any actual services or goods to the greater public. Why am I supposed to be in awe of these people?

He was the one leading people to say they wanted to ban profits. And yes, right now we have in our tax codes measures to cut/cap profits and everyone even repubs are OK with it.
