Have a new Christmas grand baby this morning!

My step daughter due 1/20 went into labor last night and had a baby boy 5lb 3oz at 6am this morning. Very cute and healthy little guy.

She named him Theodore and said little Teddy was doing fine, already nursing too.

I had told her work as long as you can you will want more time with your son, so she was going to work till Jan 1. Her last day was this Monday. She is paralegal at Family law office always super busy.

Wonderful way to start the day.

So glad they are doing well.

Poor Teddy, will always be getting gifts with the line, "this is your Christmas gift, too!" LOL

Glad to hear she's already nursing him-he needs the proteins and immune factors he will get from her milk.

Merry Christmas to you and your whole family, my dear marlakay!

Would want me to share. You can’t see baby except a tiny bit above blanket and mom looks like dad took pic literally the second he was put in her arms. I think fine but don't think she would want me to post online.

Still in mountains but pretty much zero snow in town but still get to see it on mountains.

Mike said it didn’t feel like retirement shoveling snow all winter, i loved the snow and miss it but did very little of the shoveling.

I like being in a area with Trader Joes and a good co op nearby. And Costco is closer too. Really great Olli classes at University, for over 50.

Medical is good here to, its a retirement town for OR.

Back when they let mothers stay in the hospital for a few days and rest. The nurses made big flannel stockings and he came home in a red one. We still have it. He just turned 57.

And my other daughter whose kids are 14 and 12, she was due mid Jan and told me if it was on his birthday middle name would be my dads. I don’t think she expected him to come early, sure enough he did and his middle name is Robert after my dad who died in 2000.
