Conservative Columnist Calls Trump a Sick Human Being for Hateful Attack: He Clearly Wants to Inflict Pain

No matter how many offensive things President Donald Trump says, most people in the right-wing media are afraid to call him out and true to form, they remained silent when Trump attacked and defamed the late Michigan Rep. John D. Dingell during a December 18 MAGA rally in Battle Creek, Michigan and implied that he was in hell. But Kathleen Parker is one conservative journalist who isnt giving Trump a pass: in a scathing Washington Post column, she points to the Dingell controversy as a prime example of how low Trump can sink.
Implying that Dingell was in hell was Trumps way of taking a cheap shot at the late Democratic congressmans widow, Rep. Debbie Dingell, who voted to impeach him. John Dingell, who was 92 when he died on February 7, 2019, was the longest-serving congressman in U.S. history: he entered the U.S. House of Representatives via Michigan in 1955 and remained until January 2015.
Although right-wing politically, Parker is far from a knee-jerk Republican Party hack along the lines of Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity and over the years, she has taken some positions that strayed from Fox News/AM talk radio orthodoxy. Parker, for example, declared that nominating Sarah Palin as Sen. John McCains running mate in the 2008 presidential election was a colossal blunder for the Republican Party. And when Barack Obama was president, she viewed him as a centrist rather than a staunch liberal.
Trumps attack on John Dingell, Parker writes, was motivated by a desire for revenge. Parker explains, Trump no doubt expected Debbie Dingell to reward his beneficence by voting no on impeachment, which didnt happen. He was angry. But Trumps is no ordinary anger. When he lashes out, he goes for the kill. He clearly wants to inflict pain and then spit on his preys grave.

Perhaps the Star at the top of MAGAt's christmas tree should be replaced by a globe with the image of Stephen Miller's angry scowl.

..."Parker stated that she felt, a moral imperative to prevent the election of Trump.
He is, to me, a dangerous person, primarily because the man has no self-control," she said. Ive never known anyone [else] who was intentionally cruel."
......
I know [Trumps] type. Women are objects to him, she said. He likes to own women. He likes to control women. Women can get under his skin so easily he cant stand it. It takes a real man to understand that women are perfect.
As to why some women continue to support Trump, Parker said, Theres a simple answer: People are crazy.

She praised Clinton's knowledge and experience in comparison to her opponent, and said she believed Clintons election would have positive outcomes. "...(more)

(16,927 posts)quite a list of what could be used to show our "honor and respect" to that vile, evil, sick person. I would suspect that even HIS EPA, decimated as it is, would have to declare his grave site a toxic waste dump.
(well, that should be quite obvious from the moment his dead, wretched body is placed there!)

(10,749 posts)There was a very short post here a few days ago observing that trumps soul is so dark it doesnt cast a shadow. Cant recall who posted, but please do chime in and take credit. I find myself responding to tweets like the one about Dingel, and just yesterday the one about attacking liberal relatives during holiday get-together, by observing that he has no soul. After years of this, I really believe that he is evil. Sure, psychologically and psychiatrically damaged. But more than that. He is evil.

(82,849 posts)Go out to rural diners and find the most hidebound conservatives a reporter can find, and ask them just how much they love them some President Trump. Makes for good copy and presents the finest in conservative thought. The stories practically write themselves! Win-win.
But how about chatting with some conservatives who aren't hopelessly, helplessly in love with President Trump what they think of his administration? Maybe even venture into some urban settings and ask a few people of color how they feel about the administration? After all, more people voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016 than voted for Donald Trump. Why not get their views on Trump? Or is that story too tough to write?
