Christopher Moore's book, Lamb, is a humorous and intelligent look at what Jesus' life might have been like, especially during the 20-odd years between his preaching in the temple and the beginning of his ministry. While it may be irreverent to hard-core Christians, it's actually quite respectful even though it's funny as hell!

The story is told from the perspective of Jesus' life-long best friend, Biff. Trust me, it's worth it!

Even though I'm an atheist, I highly recommend this book! I learned some highly interesting things and laughed my ass off!

Merry Christmas.
