Charles Krauthammer has turned comedian.

Last edited Thu Sep 6, 2012, 12:42 AM - Edit history (1)

I skipped over Fox to hear what they thought of the Clinton speech. It was predictable and included Wallace dropping a few Republican talking points, but the criticism seemed tepid anyway.

Then they brought out Charles Krauthammer and his conservative elite sneer to comment. He announced it one of the worst political speeches he ever witnessed. He went on to claim it amounted to a Hillary 2016 speech, even though I only heard her mentioned the one time.

He steadily built to the punch line when he stated that Clinton got revenge on Obama by keeping him waiting in the wings for him to finish. He pointed out that the only reason the speech went on so long was to show disrespect for the man Clinton deeply hated.

Then he was set up for the closer when Meagan Whats-Her-Name asked Krauthammer why he thought the democrats were moving the event indoors tomorrow. Krauthammer said he was sure it was because of a lack of interest because, and I quote, "the democrats knew months ago what the weather would be on that night".

The Bush recession threw hundreds of Vegas comedians out of work, and the republicans hire the team of Clint & Kraut.

He has no objectivity whatsoever. In this instance, his remarks were based not so much on the need to spin Clinton's speech, but on sheer panic that it may have finally eviscerated all the GOP's bogus talking points.

What kind of messiah wouldn't know what the weather was going to be months in advance?

I don't imagine Madison Avenue cartoonists give their work that much creative thought, so it's possible that artist was just watching the news the morning they got the cereal account and said: "there he is".

I'm pretty sure Capn Crunch and John Bolton are the same person.

How can anything be more of a dis than to keep the president waiting backstage while Clinton lavished mountains of praise upon him? Hahahhaha

Krauthammer really dropped the ball on this one. He's so full of rage he can't even think straight.
