How long can something built on a defective foundation, stand?

Everything Trump and the Republicans have built, is built on a foundation of lies, corruption and incompetence. One day it shall all collapse, the question is when and how.

The most frustrating part of the Trump nightmare is whenever he fails, whenever his crimes are exposed, corrupt people flock towards him and protect him. Trump is also a very lucky asshole. With all his corruption, incompetence, he has yet to face what most presidents face, a major crisis, foreign or domestic. One day that will also end. The American people have been very lucky so far that Trump has not caused a major crisis.

The foundation Trump and the Republicans are building upon is filled with cracks and defects. They keep on trying to patch over, hide, cover up these cracks and defects. You can only do that for so long. When it all comes down, it will all come down at once.

Lets all of us hope, pray, the year 2020 will be the year the defective foundation of lies, corruption and incompetence gives way and it all comes tumbling down.
