(24,370 posts)It is easier to count the number of holidays I've spent at home, than it is to count the ones spent on the road.
You have my condolences, driver.
Bobtail to a movie theater and take in a flick.
No matter what, stay safe.

A HERETIC I AM
(24,370 posts)I had to call 911 on myself a year ago last February while on a team trip to Cali. On the way back I went into a severe COPD episode and had to get taken to the ER from the Pilot in Las Cruces, NM.
Being away from home for extended periods is bad enough. Having to contend with crappy weather is another layer of PITA. Topping it off with a dentist visit in a far away city on Xmas week?
Shitfire, brother!
Here's hoping you get home for New Years, anyway.
I got offered a 40 hour team trip leaving tomorrow and back Thursday morning, but I don't know the other guy so I turned it down. Im taking a down and back to Tampa starting at 1400 hrs tomorrow. I may actually be at home on the 25th for the first time in who knows!
Again, be safe.

(24,006 posts)...son (29), who moved to Phoenix 18 months ago, will, for the first time in his life, not be home for Christmas. Our younger one, 27, is not happy about this. Or course, we are not either. He fell in love, and followed his heart from the greater Chicago area to Phoenix.
Heres a long-distance hug, diver Dave -
