Looks Like Mitch McConnell Is Going to Be Trump's Defense Attorney

He's speaking right now on MSNBC, doubling down on his prejudiced attitude toward the impeachment. He will work to acquit Trump, so he'll be acting as his defense attorney, rather than as the Majority Leader in the Senate.

As such, he needs to recuse himself, not participate in the trial and resign his leadership position.
