to comply with any subpoena from a house of Congress-R from this day forward (I mean no pragmatic reason, not no principled one).

The GrOPers have clearly voted this day that their party is not serious about that Congressional authority as a matter of principle. Any attempt on their part to invoke that authority is clearly rooted in partisanship alone and not the Constitution or the rule of law.

It is terrible, and disastrous, and corrosive. But that is what they have done.

They will own it, and the consequences, as long as anyone reality-based is writing our histories (be careful betting the over/under there, btw).
