The two moments that broke my brain

Rep. Loudermilk (GA) proclaiming that even Jesus Christ was treated better than trump*. AND, Rep. Kelly (PA) comparing these impeachment hearings/vote to the attack on Pearl Harbor. Unless that means we get to nail trump* to a cross, and then drop bombs on him, this is hyperbole at its most rank.

Let's hope that continues right to the end of the story.

I'd love to see Trump get harsher punishment than Jesus.

according to some GOPers.

So, he got a worse deal than Jesus, who got crucified after Pilate washed his hands of the matter and handed him over to a hostile crowd. Does that mean that the Democrats are going to crucify Trump for real instead of just impeaching him? If so, will he arise from the dead on the third day? (And are there any Christians out there who think comparing Trump favorably to Jesus is kinda blasphemous?)

If he got a worse deal than the witches, does that mean that instead of impeaching him the House Judiciary Committee should dunk him under water, and if he drowns it proves he's innocent?

If impeaching Trump is worse than Pearl Harbor, how come there aren't any bombs or dead people?
