The rules just make it much harder to form them and to organize workers. All the UPS delivery drivers in NC are Teamsters, for example.

but the Democratic Party has betrayed labor one too many times. They have no voice in the media either.

6. My Mom was a teacher and should have had a union to look out for her interests.

Instead, she worked long hours with incredibly low pay and very little respect. The repugs now even want to take away their professional association. It pisses me off.

No, no one holds a knife to your throat threatening to cut you physically but there's no guarantee you'll have your job if your boss is anti-union and for some folks that crappy job means the difference between eating and starving, having a roof over your head or sleeping under a tree - well you get where I'm going.
