Betcha he is having them wait until closer to lunch hour so he can have them speak while people are breaking for lunch and sneaking time in front of TV’s or radios.

I also noticed a bit ago that the Repukes had less time remaining than the Dems. Maybe there's some of that, too?

for every committee hearing since the beginning.

What is normally allowed is that they can submit/amend any written "remarks" for the record "within 5 legislative days" (so I expect they will look around at the polling and then submit copious amounts of written garbage).
