For EVERY job I ever applied for, they had a list of "qualifications" you had to first meet

Why on earth isn't there some kind of sane list of qualifications a person has to meet before being allowed to run for taking on the highest responsibility of being President of the United States? For instance, since this a country of laws, require the applicants have a decent understanding of constitutional law. I've had to qualify for every important job I ever had. Why shouldn't the same be required of the POTUS?

Has to be a 'natural born' US citizen.
Has to be at least 35 years old.

The rest is left up to us. I don't think I'd trust anyone else to make the decision, especially after the last couple of years.

After the 2010 election, a citizenship test wouldn't just be for the Executive Branch.

I interpret your "After the 2010 election" correctly, but I think everyone should take the test annually after the disastrous 2010 votes... all the complaints before the election and I would continually just say "John Boehner" and no one seemed to understand

The nerve of America electing an educated, qualified person of color. That election was about backlash and so was 2016.

We voted for brainiacs and got stupidity. Now we're impeaching Stupidity 2.0.

but also the numbers of Democrats(?) that were complaining coming up on the 2010 election that Obama just didn't give them everything they wanted... and just didn't vote, being clueless about how important EVERY election is...

We have elected officials voting on bills they haven't read about subjects they don't understand. It gives advisors and special interests.

We need extremely knowledgeable, quick learning politicians.
