(4,947 posts)Don't think for a second that if the situation were reversed and it was a Democratic President being impeached by a rethuglican house and the rethugs were in the minority in the Senate that Turtle-face wouldn't be doing the exact same thing!....its his M.O. and we need to throw it right back in his turtle-face!

(82,849 posts)The problem with any poll is that it doesn't recognize the iron whim of Senate Majority Leader McConnell. I really thought he'd bitten off more than he could chew when he held up the Garland Supreme Court nomination. But he was quite equal to the task of gumming up the works for an entire year. A 3-1 majority of voters doesn't faze him in the least.
