I was just thinking about FLOTUS's speech...

It has got to be political suicide if a first-whomever upstaged the President's acceptance speech, right? So I think that Michelle's speech last night was, not only, awesome...it is also a testament to just how much BARAK is GONNA ROCK tomorrow. We all know it, and it's gonna be AWESOME!!!!!!

but I'll probably tune in to watch Big Dog work the crowd tonight, it's always a thing of beauty.

The FLOTUS was great last night, talking with people instead of at them.

Someone remarked that she's the neighborhood mom at the house all the kids gravitate to. Her opposition is the mom who freaks out when the kids go into the formal living room to sit on the "good" sofa. That sounded just about right to me.

when he's on, an incredible speaker. I think we all know that. I remember the first time I heard him speak, when he was the keynote speaker. I was sitting in my absolutely incredible lazyboy, just minding my own little progressive self when he spoke. I distinctly remember being awed, which is not a normal state for me, and thinking, "Holy crap, I'm listening to a future president." I had no idea it would be so soon. I thought it would be like maybe the next cycle.
I don't think we will be disappointed. This is another moment.
