I will never forget this picture: Congressional Hearing on Women's Birth Control

Here's the panel of witnesses:

Here's the congressMAN who convened the hearing:

Looks more like 1950 than a decade into the 21st century. This is sooooo scary to me, that this would actually be OKAY to a political party.

Unbelievable, their shameless attempts to roll back the clock of progress at every opportunity.

...is that they would confer rights on a fertilized egg, but just when a single mother pushes out the baby, they lose interest in that kid's health care, and future.

Republicans like to paint the Affordable Care Act as a government takeover of medical care, with bureaucrats coming between patients and their doctors. But the GOP evidently hasn't had a problem with insurance companies moving the goal posts once someone has enrolled in a plan, or cutting off a patient during chemotherapy.

And the Republicans are only too ready to bring your boss, your clergyman, and your congressman through the examining room door to call the shots.

I hope one of these days some investigator uncovers all the dirt he is involved in and is able to get enough evidence together to put him in prison for a very long time.
