(16,987 posts)Republicans like to paint the Affordable Care Act as a government takeover of medical care, with bureaucrats coming between patients and their doctors. But the GOP evidently hasn't had a problem with insurance companies moving the goal posts once someone has enrolled in a plan, or cutting off a patient during chemotherapy.
And the Republicans are only too ready to bring your boss, your clergyman, and your congressman through the examining room door to call the shots.
