MTP so called "voter roundtable"

?s=20

I watched this this morning and was pretty sickened by it. They go to Kent country which contains the city of Grand Rapids which, for a large city, is pretty red. Think of Kent country as the seat of the DeVos family empire.

but just because you go to a red area doesn't mean there aren't blue persons living there, and this roundtable was nothing more than a drumpf supporter rally. did they even try to find any Democrats for this???????

Don't want to give up the Dumpy Trumpy Monster they created. They love him. Even Bill Gates got a lucrative contract out of Dumpy's federal government. They are making a mint off the slob in the white house. He's their boy.

So, don't believe the propaganda.

3. Nice and balanced! After all, who'd watch a show talking about crimes the President has committed?

10. All 6 are Republicans, according to the lead-in. So, no, they're not informed.

They don't recognize that the reason we've known for quite some time that Trump will be impeached is because the case has been clear-cut ever since the call summary was released.

They don't recognize that the reason there was (eventually) more bipartisanship in 1974 is not because the case against Nixon was any stronger but because their party of choice is more corrupt than ever.

They're idiots who play themselves off as being intelligent, informed, reasonable people. They support racism, sexual assault, constant lying, science denial, mocking children, mocking persons with disabilities, tax cuts for the wealthiest, gun violence, and so on. Ask them why they support Trump and they'll give you some nonsense about jobs and border security. They're full of shit, every last one of them.

Countdown until someone on DU says we "need to do more to understand these voters": 5, 4, 3, 2...

with snippets of truth, we can bend public opinion, in the direction of truth. Republicans have run numerous ads. We've run next to none.

...as an argument as to why Nixon was deserving of removal and Trump isn't. Hmm, you don't suppose it could be because your party is now dominated by corrupt, lying assholes, do you?

As for MTP, what a joke of a program. Let's interview 6 Republicans in a purple county (that Whitmer won in 2018 by a larger margin than Trump won it in 2016), act surprised at how much they don't care about impeachment, and then write a headline that suggests we're interviewing a random selection of voters and that only people "in the Beltway" give a shit about presidential criminality.

Me.

They most always slant one way or the other, usually Con. Soboroff did these things in '16 and they always went to BS. I think it's the point of view of the interviewer.

11. They said in the lead-in that they're all Republicans. The headline tried to hide that fact.

Gee, 6 Republicans don't give a shit about impeachment. Shocked, shocked I tell ya.
