Tell my African American co-workers who do it on a daily basis that they're actually making a racist symbol. Because they know it as "The Circle Game".

They try to get each other to look down at their hand and then start laughing. They do it to me too. I can't wait to tell them the other meaning of this on Monday, since several of them who do this are people of color.
