Is Louie Gohmert "The dumbest man in government?"

Yeah, I know there's competition for this title. But Gohmert seems to crash through whatever line defines stupid, and has crossed into some weird world that might be called "Mind dead with the ability to utter inanities."

Trump gives him some competition here, but he daily demonstrates a malignant slyness.

Many other Republicans vie for this title, but their bigotry, racism, virulent hatred of "The Other," and pure mental bile, indicates that their poisoned brains can actually form evil thoughts.

Countless Republican voters (many, but not all) are uneducated, but, unfortunately, some of them are just plain dumb. Especially when it comes to their casting votes against their own well being. But are they as dumb as Gohmert? How could they ever get elected???

So, on this Sunday afternoon when there's not all that much going on, I've spent a few moments of my life, that I'll never get back, wondering if there's anyone dumber than Louis Gohmert. And I just can't come up with one.
