Republican Group Hits Donald Trump With Scathing New Billboard Campaign

https://news.yahoo.com/republicans-for-the-rule-of-law-billboards-trump-135139335.html

A conservative group is targeting House Republicans with a digital billboard campaign that is heavily critical of President Donald Trump.

In the new ads, Republicans for the Rule of Law calls out Trump for prohibiting key witnesses in the Ukraine scandal from testifying in the House impeachment inquiry against him.

The ads show Trump with a finger over his mouth to indicate that he wants silence. He appears next to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, former National Security Adviser John Bolton, acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney and Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, in the images.

"What Is Trump Hiding?” ask the ads, which will be placed in the congressional districts of House Republicans, including Reps. Greg Walden (Ore.), Mac Thornberry (Texas), Fred Upton (Mich.) Brian Fitzpatrick (Penn.), Adam Kinzinger (Ill.) John Katko (N.Y.) and Martha Roby (Ala.).

re abuse of power and obstruction - Their billboards are probably somehow categorized as really expensive personal tax-deductible PSAs or designed for phone calls to the offices in order spout their alternative "facts" to unwitting callers.

Too much about what they would say if unleashed. Like Michael Cohen said, he doesn't ever come right out and say "Rob the bank tomorrow". Except maybe to Roody. We'd need to get the most astute and brilliant atty to work truth out.

They're afraid of losing advertisers or offending the general populace. Any real investigative journalism or anyone who makes a legitimate effort usually work for alternative media or college papers. To get picked up by establishment publications the story has to be sanitized for Trump's protection.

They're also afraid of him because he could send his brainwashed hordes after journalists, just like they do in Russia and Saudi Arabia (and all the other dictatorships he wants to emulate). This nutjob would have had Woodward, Bernstein, and John Dean either disappear or be executed.

And Kay hasn't had to do anything for her constituents.

She just voted: 12/12/2019 Lower Drug Costs Now Act of 2019 No

How is this helping her constituents???

or this: 12/06/2019 Voting Rights Advancement Act of 2019 No

Here she has decided that the Voting Rights Advancement is not important to her constituents, wonder why that is???

my rep, is an ass. We had a staunch conservative in office before him, but that was not good enough for the tea party.

He may be afraid of losing his seat. This is a very red district, but Kinzinger has some strong and good opposition.

Maybe our side need a few billboards, too.

And it is doubtful many red voters in eastern Oregon are going to change to blue through a billboard. Seems like this money should have been spent elsewhere. Unless it is meant to pressure Walden's successor (almost certainly a R).
