Sasha and Malia Obama will head to Charlotte for the final night of the Democratic National Convention on Thursday, according to a White House pool report. Campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki said Sasha and Malia Obama will fly out on Thursday after school to attend their father's speech. President Obama joined first lady Michelle Obama in Charlotte Wednesday afternoon.

President Obama was still at the White House when Michelle Obama spoke, but he made sure she knew she had made him proud.
