(24,768 posts)He's accusing them of committing perjury when in fact the WB was telling the truth to the best of their knowledge. RATcliffe needs to be sued for slander per se.

(14,825 posts)All of the incidents the WB testified to hearing about were corroberated. None were contradicted. None.
Plus, the intel committee never used the WB report in any capacity other than a roadmap of who to talk to. They never relied on the WB's testamony, and all the witnesses they called had independent knowledge of what happened.
It doesn't matter who the WB is or what was in the report. Other witnesses frovided facts for the committee to rely on.

(70,567 posts)If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.
They are planting seeds and many end up taking root because of the repetition. Masters of propaganda.
Botany
(70,567 posts).... bottom of this (an OSU player suspended for 2 games) so we need to find the whistleblower in this case.
Now you and I see the propaganda and lies coming but because of their lies and the right wing 24/7
propaganda we have a % of Americans who buy the lie as truth.
And they are changing the language, so that positive words become negative, something they've done for years now. They are trying to make "whistleblower" a bad thing and it is starting to take.

How does that help? And regular people arent going to like this mess, we are into it and struggling.
Its like watching a volleyball game where they are throwing a fireball at each other. And the witnesses are like the audience getting hit with the ball.

(35,713 posts)When Swalwell used repetition to drive home the fact that there is one person and one person only responsible for this crime:
Swalwell: Who called Zelensky to "ask for a favor" to stage an investigation on Joe Biden?
Goldman: President Trump.
Swalwell: Who told Pence he could not go to Zelensky's inauguration?
Goldman: President Trump.
Swalwell: Who prevented witnesses from testifying?
Goldman: President Trump.
This went on and on. It was shocking how many of the actions required to carry out this crime were directly performed by "President Trump."
