(6,823 posts)No customers and the counter man came walking from the tv where Collins was spewing. This guy acted high as he came over to help me. Saying something like "he is so right. He has it,!". I acted disinterested ordered my donuts and he asked if I had watched impeachment. I said I was able to watch the most two weeks ago. He pointed back to tv and said well he (collins) said something so true. I said, oh? Donut guy said he asked a really good question, I said oh really. Donut guy said he asked " how many times are they going to impeach him?" I replied, "well hopefully only once." I think he could tell I was not a fan and it sorta harshed his buzz, but I imagine he got his buzz back after I changed the subject, took my donuts and left. I didn't feel like a confrontation with

(5,810 posts)What else can they do except eat up time, shout and flail, sigh, act exasperated and throw anything against the wall hoping something will stick? They have no case. They have no defense. But they have to try to present a case in tRumps defense. So we get a rerun of every presentation theyve done to date. Im sure they sat in a room coming up with a strategy, who would say what and going through parliamentary procedure looking for a few ways to obstruct and distract this hearing and any others that are scheduled. But they look lame and pathetic. I hope the Americans who bother to watch will see through their pitiful attempts to stop this impeachment.
I implore the viewers to look at it like they would a good tv legal drama. Watch both sides and see which one presents the best case. Not the one with the most histrionics. The one with the best facts, the best case. The truth will hopefully be the prevailing view.

(14,818 posts)They are playing up how mean and rotten the dems are for not following rules and running roughshod over the committee.
They are pre-planned and choreographed to provide a conversation for right wing media, and it is being gobbbled up.
Victim politics at its worst. They are out to get trump (you), and will stop at nothing.
