Auberjonois was one of my favorite character actors...even before I found out a HS friend of mine worked with him.

I remember him as very gracious, reflecting his European roots, and talented. He certainly stood out in our company. I liked him a lot...

And with "old school" manners. I was a kid from Texas (altho we were both the same age) and in awe of him...
