Same here.

Some I know of are really on the edge and that only started in the last couple of years for them. They are precariously experiencing a rendezvous with poverty.

Me, I am already down the chute and in the bin, so I am used to it.

And they know companies hire temporary holiday help. So they take that into account and seasonally adjust the numbers. It is right there in the report. They do it every year in every administration. So that is not the reason.

the largest revision in over a decade. The largest revision since before we had a Democratic president. Funny this.

Is the Labor Department corrupt in favor of Trump? Is the Pope Catholic?

I was laid off in August and I have been applying, on average, for five jobs a week to comply with unemployment, and am still unemployed. 19 years of experience, willing to take a payout, nothing. And I live in a hot job market: Denver.

But I don't have any reason to distrust the job numbers, at least as far as the unemployment rate goes.

For years, while Obama was President, and the unemployment rate was dropping rapidly.....many republicans said those weren't the 'real' unemployment numbers.

They were real then, and they are real now.

Our unemployment rate is really low now, and that's good. But, it's not because of anything trump has done.

Its still too early and the weather not as great but I think it is much more toned down and subdued. The dogs and I will continue our nightly check-on-the-strength-of-economy-by-holiday-decorations.

Actually, the dogs said we should probably evaluate a couple of additional neighborhoods, too. Year-round. Twice a day, maybe three.

And yet the RepubliCON Great recession had started a year ago.

It wasn't until 2008 that the numbers drastically dropped. And then everyone got fired left and right and 18 months later everyone was still unemployed

I think the flaw is not just because of Dumpy Trumpy, the flaw is in the statistical system that hides the failing economy and unemployment until the bitter end.

Its predictive value is lucky to be 30 days, and that maybe only because how often the numbers are posted. If the numbers are good today, that does NOT mean the numbers will be good tomorrow. They can suddenly drop and everyone could lose their sales clerk jobs today with no warning.

the number of paychecks they cut. BTW,ADP only represents about 20% of all Business's in the USA. This Data is added to a Algorithm that was created some years ago. Two things were added this last month, something about how family households are counted as full time workers. Another dealing with people not in the labor market. Have not had a chance to do any back ground on these new Table changes.

Trump said from day one he would juice the Payroll numbers to suit his own desire.
