In the end, what the Trump administration will be most remembered for, besides the corruption, is the cruelty. Particularly the cruelty toward children.

and their parents, History and remembrance of the Trump Regime will be for massive and dangerous trampling on the Constitution and the Rule of Law, destruction of historical norms, unparalleled corruption at Cabinet level, as well as bringing the Republic to the brink of fascism and dictatorship. If he and the complicit Republicans win in 2020 we will cross over that brink.

When you dehumanize children at the border or blame them for being in their position, ignoring and disavowing responsibility for their suffering is rendered so much easier.
