The Trump administration has proposed changes to three rules for SNAP assistance. The rules change could take food away from 3.7 million people.

NBC News reported:

A study by the Urban Institute released this week examined the three rules in combination for the first time and found that 3.7 million fewer people would receive SNAP in an average month, 2.2 million households would see their average monthly benefits drop by $127, more than 3 million others would see an average drop of $37 per month, and 982,000 students would lose access to free or reduced lunches. - PoliticusUSA

2. His second set of proposed cuts was last summer, the third set

of cuts announced in October (the first cuts were announced about a year ago), and a period for the public to comment ended last month.

I don't know when these various cuts would go into effect, but I'm guessing most not before November 3, 2020. Just as most of the hurtful effects of their giant tax heist won't start being really felt until after that. Could be a very bad guess, though, since low-income groups don't vote in very high numbers, children not at all, so of course a supple of easy victims. And we know today's Mean People like those.

Eating on around $6 a day, (which is the full amount allowed) is more and more difficult because food prices are increasing steadily. When I had access to a kitchen to cook food I could stretch it, but it gets very thin rather fast and you skip meals or fast often.

When you don't have access to a refrigerator, stove and running water it is even worse and you can't buy any prepared hot foods, though they are not that affordable, (more of a luxury) and one cold sandwich takes most of your daily allotment.

Since it is not enough for an older adult to eat calories-wise, what a welfare luxury, huh? Why not take the food out of the mouths of children, seniors and the working poor? The expendable, useless eaters are not valuable.

Yet, the Trump supporters are probably going to feel this one if it goes through.
