White House will not show up to Wednesday's impeachment hearing

The White House told House Democrats Sunday night that the Oval Office will not participate in the Judiciary Committee’s first impeachment hearing.

“Under the current circumstances, we do not intend to participate in your Wednesday hearing,” White House Counsel Pat Cipollone wrote in a letter to Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY).

“An invitation to an academic discussion with law professors does not begin to provide the president with any semblance of a fair process.”

Heh. They were never going to show... too many folks already locked up for lying to Congress and the FBI. Trump would HAVE to lie to save his skin, they will avoid that at all costs. Oh and he is a snivelling cowardly traitor...

When my number came up in the Vietnam war draft, I was already in the military. He was hiding, lying and insulting every patriot in the US.

It's really childish, but I'm sure that's the reason. They want to continue to use that talking point and it would be much harder if WH counsel attended the hearings.
