I have gone to using re-usable cloth bags. They not only are a major factor in cleaning up the environment, they are far superior for hauling in the groceries over plastic bags. They have handles and the food isn't stuffed on top of each other. They also stand up in the car and don't fall over. I have become a recycler after years of just throwing stuff in the trash. It just has to become a habit and really doesn't take any real additional effort, just an easy commitment. I wish I had done more earlier.

If you want to use a plastic bag, you have to buy it. I’ve used my own cloth bags for years.

But I’ve seen people post here that using cloth bags doesn’t help. Unbelievable.

If I forget to bring one in, I buy another one.

I have some really nice ones I bought in Ireland and Wales. The cashiers here in rural NC do a double take at my Welsh ones with the brilliant red dragon on them lol.

I have really, and sadly grown to just about hate every damn Republican. I don't care to be friends with them because why should I have to put up with their insanity. I used to think well they have a right to their opinion, but I don't want to traffic with that crappy excuse any longer, just f-them and move on. They are no long worth the time of day.

If you are you know all about Yale Precision Marching Band. If not, I will tell you. It is actually a good band but it exists to do quite a bit of mocking of those big marching bands in the Big 10 schools. They serenade our little tailgate groups with a terrible rendition of the theme from "The Love Boat." It's a tradition or something. They just don't take themselves too seriously.

I'm in a very red part of the state, where poor people happily vote against their best interests. We live here to help care for my wife's dad. But I do get glares sometimes at the grocery for using cloth bags. And I respond to their glare with a smile.
