Think about all of the BS they tried to throw at PRESIDENT Obama - "no flag pin" - "tan suit" - Kenyan-born - deficit spender.

And I STILL wonder how many are able to grasp what has been going on.......

In the past, while they were busy moving children off welfare and the people off the backs of business (before they were induced to finish abandoning the values they claimed to the tender care of their leaders), they'd need to deny that Democrats were out-moraling and out-Jesusing them.
Of course, that dogmatically weak period was succeeded by a much stronger, defensible new reality, implanted in millions of brains, that Democrats and liberalism are quite simply evil and determined to destroy all that is good and right about America.
So, many of us spent decades being naive and unrealistic to our faces and smug and snotty behind our backs. That was before we became just plain evil, of course, which makes seeing those put-downs pop up from "kinder and gentler" times rather amusing.
