Admits on live TV to doing what he's accused of

Sonam Sheth and Grace Panetta

... "They have the server, right, from the DNC, Democratic National Committee," Trump said. "The FBI went in and they told them, get out of here, we're not giving it to you. They gave the server to CrowdStrike or whatever it's called, which is a country — which is a company owned by a very wealthy Ukrainian. And I still want to see that server. You know, the FBI's never gotten that server. That's a big part of this whole thing. Why did they give it to a Ukrainian company?"

... Doocy .. asked incredulously: "Are you sure they did that? Are you sure they gave it to Ukraine?"

"Well, that's what the word is. That's what I asked, actually, in my phone call," he said, referring to his July 25 conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that's the focus of the whistleblower complaint that sparked the impeachment inquiry.

Then .. the president added: "I mean, I asked it very point-blank, because we're looking for corruption. There's tremendous corruption. Why should we be giving hundreds of millions of dollars to countries when there's this kind of corruption?"

In less than a minute, Trump appeared to .. link the 2016 conspiracy theory to the vague "corruption" concern his allies have cited as rationale for his withholding the critical military aid to Ukraine ...

1. There's so much fucking illogical and wrong with this stupid conspiracy theory

one has to have not a single LICK of knowledge about the situation to indulge it in even the slightest.

Most prominently, the hard drives of ALL DNC servers (there's not just ONE, you fucking moron) in question were 'imaged', which mean EVERY BIT OF MEANINGFUL DATA WAS COPIED ... and those image files were transmitted to the FBI.

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THEY ASKED FOR, AND THEY'VE ALREADY CLEARLY SAID SO, LONG AGO.

The physical hardware contains EXACTLY ZERO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION OF ANY KIND beyond that transmitted in these hard drive images. There's ZERO investigatory value in physically possessing the Hardware vs. the Disc Images.

Not to mention, Crowdstrike is a BILLION $-valued US COMPANY HQ'd in SUNNYVALE. It's only CO-FOUNDED by the 'Wealthy Ukrainian' Trump refers to, AND HE'S BORN IN Soviet Russia, NOT UKRAINE.

From his Wiki:

"Alperovitch is an American citizen born in Russia who escaped to the United States with his family during the Soviet era."

"Alperovitch was awarded the prestigious Federal 100 Award for his contributions to the U.S. federal information security [17] and was recognized in 2013 and 2015 as one of Washingtonian (magazine)'s Tech Titans for his accomplishments in the field of cybersecurity.

In August 2013, he was selected as one of MIT Technology Review's Top 35 Innovators Under 35, an award previously won by Larry Page, Sergey Brin, and Mark Zuckerberg [18]"

This dude is not even Ukrainian, let alone some shady dude who's likely to be involved in sketchy plans to haul off servers for conspiracies with Hillary Clinton.

The primary Founder (and President/CEO) of Crowdstrike is AN AMERICAN, George Kurtz, former CTO and Senior VP at McAffee, and founder of Foundstone.

The whole CT about Crowdstrike and the DNC IS FUCKING ABSURD, and IT'S UTTERLY INTOLERABLE that the POTUS is entertaining it in any way ...

Lastly, if you want to hide information you have stored on servers ... why move them to Ukraine, rather than, I dunno ... take em out 50 miles off the coast and dump 'em in the ocean, after running 'em through a bunch of strong magnets?

I mean ... somebody please make this NONSENSE STOP!
