9. She's always been real. One of my favorite things that she said during the last campaign

is that when her mom babysat they'd come home and find that Grandma had been letting the girls eat chocolate and jump on the couch. It was such an unpretentious thing to say and her voice had that mixture of exasperation and affection that I've often heard parents use when talking about how their parents spoil their kids.
