You know what's precious about this whole thing?

trump didn't have to extort Zelensky.

If he had given Ukraine what they needed from the start, including the global photo op at the WH, theres a good chance Zelensky would've done whatever trump wanted. The DOJ, in cooperation with Ukraine intelligence, could have announced their bogus investigation into Burisma and Crowdstrike without even mentioning Biden. The press would do that for them.

Instead, he ham-hands it, and why? BECAUSE A FREE & INDEPENDENT UKRAINE ISN'T IN RUSSIA'S BEST INTERESTS.

president, we have to stick to very narrow, provable charges such as the fact that Trump tried to bribe (or extort) the president of Ukraine. But, yes, the bottom line is that Putin instruct Trump to give him Ukraine.

He could have simply replaced the ambassador through normal channels. He didn’t have to smear her reputation through shady background intrigues via Rudy Ghouliani. It’s all been totally self inflicted wounds. He’s a mobster and he knows only mobster ways of operating.

Pathetic.

I think we actually kinda dodged a bullet that this administration is so inept and so transparently and venally corrupt...it could have been a lot worse if they had been a bit more competent.
