Why I think the orange blowhard changed residency to FL

Earlier in the week he watched as St Ronnie’s presidential library was nearly burned (saved by goats) in the liberal state of California.

Our dictator wannabe is scared he will only be in office one term. And it got his tiny brain to thinking.

the orange jackass got a bit scared that his library might be in his liberal home state of NY where people hate his fucking guts.

So, he decided to change residency to a state where more of his loyal minions reside, cause he can’t have people disrespecting his orange highness, like what happened at the World Series.

A confluence of events converged and he needs to save his ego.

He is such a fucking coward.

counties, basically give them up to republicans. There are something like 58-59 of Florida's 67 counties that fall into the smaller bucket (<300,000 residents). Just trimming the republican margin by 2-5% in those smaller counties give democrats statewide races.

He did it for financial reasons: FL doesn't have a state income tax, and in that state your primary residence can't be the subject of forfeiture.

.

Two years ago, Reuters reported that least 63 Russians had spent $98.4 million buying condos in the six Trump-branded luxury towers in Sunny Isles and a seventh in Hollywood. Plus, another 703 units in the seven Trump buildings had been purchased by so-called limited liability companies, LLCs, that mask the owners’ identities.

In 2016, a Miami Herald investigation found that dozens of Sunny Isles condos, many in Trump-branded properties, had been purchased by Russians suspected of illicit doings. International fraud investigators suggest that Sunny Isles real estate provides corrupt Russian officials an anonymous place to invest their loot, safe from the scrutiny of cops and tax collectors back home. No wonder they call Sunny Isles Moscow-by-the-Sea.

that are coming to the surface. The City of New York as well as the State of New York are going to have a few White Elephants for Sale in the coming years. Sounds like the Feds own a fair chunk on his Anchor Tower via Forfeiture by his Pals the Russian Mobsters.

Micheal Cohen claimed Trump would have to sign over all his property in order to pay any back taxes owed to the State as well as Settlement of his Income Tax liabilities with the IRS.

It's all about money, I think.

The GOPer giveaway tax break to the ultra wealthy included the blue state barb of limiting state and local tax deductions on federal forms. Fake Donald can't afford to pay even the little taxes he used to pay.

Trump Tower has long been known as the Russian laundromat. Maybe Pootie's lieutenants haven't been able to do much laundry since Installation Day, 2017. Maybe Dirty Don is falling behind on paying his vig to bosses.

Also, several people have pointed out that courts can't seize a primary residence in Florida. Maybe The Cowardly Don is hedging against all those lawsuits clawing back his ill-gotten gains after he leaves the WH.

If NY State and the Feds get him with Financial/Tax Fraud, they can seize assets. However, Florida will allow one home to be exempt as the person's primary residence, no matter the cost. There is no Homestead Exemption in NY.

Back in late 1980s/early 90s in Connecticut, as the investigators were closing in on Benjamin Sisti of Colonial Realty in Connecticut, his wife bought a palatial $30 million home in Florida. So, while his assets and money were seized in CT, they had a virtual palace in Florida where they could still live their good life after he got out of jail.

I think the wife was charged with being an accessory because she bought the home, but avoided jail time.

About a year ago, democrats changed the party leadership in the state, the new people are forward-looking and are trying to fix past oversight.

Large parts of Florida are turning bright blue or purple. Republicans have net lost US House seats in the state and seats in the State Legislature. There is still some work to do, but if Trump thinks Florida at large is safe for him, he is mistaken, maybe northwest Florida, but not the rest of the state.
