SEAN HANNITY (HOST): The president, to me, on that call, as I've gone over this, is faithfully executing the laws of the country. He is saying, Get to the bottom of your election interference," which they said they cared about, but they don't. They dismissed the Biden corruption in all of this, which -- it's breathtaking to me, and they're still going to do this? Is that where we're headed?
JASON CHAFFETZ: Well, what's going to be fascinating, today -- you know, remember, [House Speaker] Nancy Pelosi instituted a 72-hour rule, supposedly this resolution that's going to be -- that's unveiled today, nobody's yet really seen it and digested it.
She said they're going to vote on Thursday, but it's Tuesday. So, do the math. I don't know how they have any time to actually properly digest this.

(29,204 posts)Be it resolved in Congress... Donald J. Trump is a crook, liar, and traitor who has violated many, many federal laws and the constitution of the United States.
Therefore it is the will of the Congress to impeach this MF.
That is all.

(9,955 posts)... he is a slow reader, obviously, and thinks his comrades need extra time. There will also be a reading comprehension problem.

(50,271 posts)Some of these characters haven't even read the White House memo about the call. If they can't be bothered to do their jobs they shouldn't be there.

(86,612 posts)71/5 is more like it. So about four pages of text.
Wow, does he not read either? Might explain a lot. Perhaps he has an aid or two who can act it out for you during office hours?
Obviously it's the comprehension part he's never going to be able to work through.

(1,660 posts)1) Republicans NEVER read bills--regardless of who wrote them. They just vote the way their leader or whip tells them to. Facts/logic be damned.
2) It's ELEVEN DAMN PAGES! It's not "War and Peace!" Anyone with more than 3-4 neurons firing can read it cover-to-cover sitting in the john. STEVIE WONDER can read it and it doesn't even have to be in Braille!
What. The. Entire. HELL is CHaffetz even talking about???

(10,721 posts)being given 2 days to read less than 8 pages is unacceptable. The thing is the likes of Chaffetz know full well that what they're saying is bullshit. It's all about getting the base to take that bullshit as gospel.
