If the heads of our intelligence agencies and the President of the United States were in agreement that there was enough evidence to begin a counter-intelligence operation on a presidential candidate or nominee, then who would have the authority to question their motives? Especially if there was evidence, circumstantisl or otherwise, that they decided was powerful enough to investigate, who would argue that they don't have that right, other than someone like Donald Trump?
