Never try to understand Berkeley. I thought they were a hot-bed of radicalism. But then they go and do some of the most confounding things possible. Hiring Yoo is a good example. Remember that this is a school that WANTED to give voice to Milo. I have given up trying go understand Berkeley.

I just recently retired after working there for over 20 years. It’s a public university which beats the major Ivy League universities in just about every category. It’s a prestigious university which has earned it’s credentials and reputation and it’s a leading research university in every science. It’s also one of ten campuses making up the University of California.
