I'm very glad he's not among our extended family I didn't ask for, but we do have our own and I try to keep the door open. A female version, actually daughter of a BFF of a relative by marriage, not a blood relation thank goodness, was just married. I've distanced quietly and wasn't invited, but I posted admiringly about what a lovely bride she was. From a distance in photos she looked nice. I'm told she's married someone better than she is, and best wishes to him. I give it long enough to produce a child, but hope I'm wrong for the sake of the others. She can drop dead, but I won't say so under my own name.
