Because, if it’s the federal system, SCOTUS will overturn it, in line with their past decisions that federal courts have no jurisdiction in the matter.

It's the trial court, which is under the Court of Appeals and the state Supreme Court

This order is on the preliminary injunction, not a final ruling. But it is nonetheless wonderful!

Very interesting -- besides NC free elections clause, the ruling is based on equal protection, freedom of speech, and freedom of assembly.

We had the same thing happen in Pennsylvania 2 years ago. It made all the difference.
Way to go, North Carolina judges! The good guys will win after all.
