@realDonaldTrump
Neither he (Taylor) or any other witness has provided testimony that the Ukrainians were aware that military aid was being withheld. You cant have a quid pro quo with no quo. Congressman John Ratcliffe @foxandfriends Where is the Whistleblower? The Do Nothing Dems case is DEAD!

(3,131 posts)I still find it amazing that he admits in the tweet that aid was withheld. Of course the rest of the tweet is a lie.
Im kind of gobsmacked by the admission. Even without all the evidence in the depositions we now have the president saying aid was withheld. I guess for reasons. And Mulvaney gave us the reason last week saying it was a quid pro quo to get a fake investigation on Biden.
I love the daily revelations coming from the depositions. But l half expect to see another tweet saying that we didnt ask for a real investigation we just wanted one to be announced. We already know that but it will be amazing to see trump admit that next.
Self impeachment is a spectacle.

The same day that I sent my cable to the Secretary, August 29, Mr. Yermak contacted me and was very concerned, asking about the withheld security assistance.

And this "defense" is totally idiotic. Even IF (and the facts do not support this) the Ukrainians did not know and were not aware, it is still bat the very least an ATTEMPT to extort.

(51,284 posts)But few of those bills are seeing traction in the GOP-led upper chamber, with many ending up in what Democrats have labeled the Senate "graveyard."
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has boasted about the pattern, promising to be a Grim Reaper for progressive policies in the Senate if the GOP hangs onto the chamber in the next Congress.
We're very proud of the work that we have done to send over to the Senate, where Mitch McConnell has said he's the 'Grim Reaper' it's a Senate graveyard, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) told reporters earlier this month. We have news for him: It's alive and well in the public, and he will be hearing from the public, hopefully very soon.
Heres a list of the Democratic priorities that passed the

(740 posts)If he read the opening statement he would clearly see that the Ukrainians were distressed about it and contacting the Ambassador (and Rudy too, I'm sure!!). Does he really think that nobody noticed? If they were that flush in $$ they wouldn't need ours.

Benghazi, whitewater, travel-gate, name-your-gate, and now Ukraine. So predictable. And, unfortunately, it seems to work. I still get into arguments with otherwise rational, left leaning relatives who are convinced Hillary is guilty of SOMETHING...

(6,196 posts)Did I just hear a judge ask one of Trump's attorneys 'What about the 5th Ave...". I assume he meant Trump's statement that he could shoot someone on 5th Ave and not lose any support. I think the judge posed it as a shooting... I believe Trump's attorney said Trump would be immuned at least while in office. No district attorney could file charges until he was out of office.
Did I hear that right?
THAT CAN'T BE TRUE.
