Live updates: Trump urges GOP to get tougher and fight impeachment as Pelosi details his shakedown of Ukraine

President Trump urged his party to get tougher and fight against his impeachment Monday as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) distributed a fact sheet outlining what her office called a gross abuse of presidential power, including a shakedown, pressure campaign and cover up.
A Republican effort to censure House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam B. Schiff (D-Calif.) for his handling of the inquiry was also expected to come to a head Monday, with Democrats poised to block a floor vote on the measure.
Democrats have planned several closed-door depositions this week, including one Tuesday from Bill Taylor, the top official at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine. In text messages with other U.S. diplomats, Taylor raised alarms about the White House holding back military aid to Ukraine and pressing for investigations into the 2016 U.S. election and an energy company that employed former vice president Joe Bidens son Hunter Biden.
●Acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney continues to back away from a quid pro quo, as a top diplomat defends Trump personal lawyer Rudolph W. Giulianis role in Ukraine.
●Trump reversed course on hosting the G-7 summit at his club after learning that impeachment-weary Republicans were tired of defending him.
●Inside Joe Bidens brawling efforts to reform Ukraine which won him successes and enemies.

I'm sure he's been told he has to behave himself or he may actually be convicted by the Senate.
Catch 22 for him - he is unable to self-regulate his behavior and behave.
He will impeach himself, as Nancy predicted.

Did they never stop to think they'd become hostages to the all powerful bully? Given the elimination of liberal Republicans, trump was a forgone conclusion... to the party.
