Is labelling him an autocrat too complimentary?

Raises an interesting argument, when we label him are we giving him more credence for any clarity of thought that he may/may not have...

...undermine all democratic institutions. That's been the objective for a long time. As they become increasingly desperate (in the face of social progression, increased secularism and changing demographics), they don't mind aligning with the likes of Putin.
