Andrew Jackson? War hero. Got a permanent scar as a teenager after being slashed in the fact by a British soldier after refusing to shine his boots.
Ronald Reagan? Born into poverty. Had an alcoholic father. Made something of himself.
George W. Bush? Overcame alcoholism. As someone who's had alcoholics in his own family, I can at least relate to him on this aspect.
Trump? Lowlife conman born into wealth who's never had to struggle a day in his worthless fucking life. Too cowardly to even serve his country. His "impressive" resume for achieving the nation's highest office included being a corrupt and incompetent businessman and then hosting a tacky reality show.
For every other president, even the worst ones, I can think of at least one positive trait they may have had. I can't think of any for Trump. Not one goddamn one.

There's no question he's sold America out in the area of secrets but we don't know how much ... on the other stuff we still have a chance to work with our democracy and make Red Don pay for his shittiness

that sort of thing is massively harmful to ordinary businesses and it may take decades to regain that trust.
moreover, his violent emboldening of white supremacists may also last a generation or more.
and the betrayal of the kurds is extremely damaging to our reputation and our relationships with all our allies. it's vastly more damaging than merely handing over the middle east to russia, which itself is mind-bogglingly damaging.

True, Bush's misguided war in Iraq cost many lives, mostly unnecessarily. But we have not yet seen the damage and lives lost (many just in a few days) due to Trump pulling out of Syria at Turkey/Russia's behests.
