Rev. O'Neal Dozier voted for Trump & thanked God when he "won." Now he's praying for impeachment.

The outspoken and frequently controversial Rev. O’Neal Dozier voted for Trump in 2016 and thanked God for his victory during a GOP event shortly after the election, but he has turned on the president and the Republican Party, reported the Orlando Sun-Sentinel.

“The Republicans are selling their souls to the devil and disgracing themselves to maintain their seats in Congress,” Dozier wrote in the South Florida Times. “Many of these Republicans are confessed Christians, who are violating the tenets of their religion in the support of President Trump.”

Dozier, pastor for 34 years at Worldwide Christian Center in Pompano Beach, welcomed the impeachment inquiry launched by House Democrats.

“God has heard my prayers and the prayers of the righteous and the true patriotic Americans who love America and want to maintain our republic and democracy,” he wrote. “I have asked and begged God in my prayer closet to remove Donald Trump from the office of the Presidency of the United States of America, because of his unfitness to lead this nation that God loves so dearly.”

that Trump was mentally unfit for office.

I'm pretty sure he's one of the people featured on the GOP Walk Away movement that was on DU in early to mid 2018 - people leaving the Republican Party over Trump.

Trump is a con man, wife cheater (3 times), assaults women and a racist but voted for him anyway. I don't get it.

It seems to me you might adopt a slightly more - shall we say - chastened tone? A little (okay, a LOT) less bombast and a little more humility?

If all he does is stay in his (prayer) closet, he's a genuine loser. He needs to come out of the closet and be a very active participant in the "religious right" to educate those clowns to the error of their ways.

and the mocking of a disabled reporter (the "least among us" ) and the insulting of a Gold Star family after the loss of their son and encouraging rally attendees to beat up protestors were just fine and dandy - even when these and other "un-Christian" things came out BEFORE the election... and now he is figuring this out?

Also, if he has any number of black congregation he's prolly lost nearly half of them so I don't take his words so seriously right now.
