that would be the ultimate insult to his massive ego. he's a narcissist and will never ever admit he did anything wrong...ever.

he's going down with the ship, why? because, he honestly believes, in his pea sized addled mind, he can survive this through his bluster and bullshit. the same bluster and bullshit that has always served him well.

more over, if he resigns, he opens himself and his family (not that he really cares about them anyway) to one massive lawsuit after another that will destroy him financially.

and at the end of the day, he's a greedy narcissistic psychopath that give less than zero shit about anybody other than himself.
