that some Trump supporters knew Trump would screw them over, but liked him because they knew Trump was going to hurt those "other guys' more than them... left unsaid was that meant non-white, non Christian, non-Democratic types.

Naturally, as good liberals, we're supposed to understand and empathize with these mean little people who think the primary job of the president is to hurt the people they hate (i.e., good liberals).
