Among the 200,000 voters purged in Ohio

If you live in Ohio, please check to see if you are an active voter and not one that has been purged. Ohio has done it all, severely gerrymandered congressional districts, closed places to vote in minority precincts and now apparently purging current voters as well.

Are well aware of Jon Husted, now Yost and back to John Boehner.

Journalist's do not call it the,” Columbus State House Gang,” for nothing.

Thom Suddes is especially good at exposing them. His articles appear in the Dayton Daily, Toledo Blade and others. He is an Adjunct Professor at Ohio University.

I don't know why the president of LWV was purged, maybe she changed her residence or maybe her name changed. (?) If you register to vote as "Betty Smith" and your driver license says you're "Elizabeth Smith" (same address, DOB, everything the same) then the voter reg will still be purged.

It doesn't seem fair, but that's how they're doing it. Many states have out-of-date voter registration data and they're too cheap and lazy to update their data the correct way. It may seem like an attack on Democratic voters, but it's happening to all voters not just Democrats. Dems are more likely to live in cities and city dwellers are more likely to change their residence or make some other change like getting married/divorced etc.

It's easy to check and verify that you're still registered to vote. If you've been dropped in your state, you can re-register online. You may be asked to show ID when you come to vote next time, so make sure your name and address match your ID.

I just checked for a friend who automatically registered when she got a new ID at her new address. Whelp, she has the ID, but she’s not coming up on the rolls. I’ll be sure this gets fixed up for her, but dang, this is the second instance I personally know of where automatic registration hit a snag in Texas.
