Ambassador Yovanovitch testified on Friday that she was told to get out of Ukraine, on the next plane. In her opening statement before her nine-hour deposition on Friday, she spelled out how the number two official in the State Department told her it was on the presidents orders that she was being recalled from her ambassadorship, even though she was told she had done nothing wrong, she continued.
It is hard to imagine that Mike Pompeo gets to stay on as Secretary of State in these circumstances, Maddow said.
Well, tonight you can add plus one to that, because just before getting on the air tonight, we learned that that recently resigned senior adviser to Mike Pompeo, Michael McKinley the one who reportedly stepped down in protest of Pompeos behavior Michael McKinley is now scheduled to testify in the impeachment inquiry against President Trump, she reported. His deposition is scheduled for the day after tomorrow.

It's a WHEN that this MF45 cabal is indeed gonna fall like a house of cards.
Good riddance.

(16,786 posts)Trump'so house of cards is falling. Key players in this dangerous game are going down. Once Rudy is arrested and indicted on Federal charges, Pompeo, Barr, Jr., and Trump are FINISHED...We all know Rudy is going to get squeezed and sing. No way will Trump pardon him. He has not pardoned Manafort or Flynn yet.

He doesn't seem like the type to simply quit. He'll be dragged out kicking and screaming all kinds of nonsense.

(10,011 posts)Republicans do not want Kobach running, so Pompeo would get their support. Thats not good for us because he would probably win in backward Kansas.

(4,007 posts)arrogant pricks like him have spent a lifetime kicking and screaming their way to a WH post. Now in charge, he thinks he's invulnerable to just about any charges as Trump would pardon him. Still, he's a fool for not looking back to the Nixon era and see how top advisory staff and even lawyers went to jail. Once a fool...always....well, you get it!

(32,645 posts)The shitshow in Ukraine, with Chump, Rudy, Pompeo, Rick Perry, (maybe Pence?) is all going to tumble very soon. On other fronts, we need to see the same thing happen in Dept. of Justice to bring down Bill Barr and the other toadies who are protecting Chump.
It's all going to tumble - and quickly.
